Hereford St Bridge Weight Restriction and CBD Access for Heavy Vehicles

CCC Engineers have recently confirmed strength limitations with the Hereford Street Bridge, and CCC has today instructed a restriction on vehicle loading onto the structure.

We have been informed that the maximum permissible vehicle loading is:

3,000 kg AXLES

GROSS 20% OF CLASS 1

This restriction comes into effect from today.

Depending upon vehicle configuration,this means that some trucks, buses and heavy vehicles will no longer be able to legally cross this bridge.
